Inventory Clerk

In this position, you will perform highly detailed clerical projects and support the maintaining of inventories of supplies and equipment under general management. Effective multitasking skills, clear communication and strong interpersonal relationships are an essential part of this role. How you will make an impact
- Main priorities includes counting, classifying, and maintaining a widespread inventory of items
- Accomplish special tasks as required
- Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; provide compliance with Company policies
- Performing all necessary internal and external audit assistance
- Demonstrating outstanding customer service to internal business partners
- Determine irregularities in received material, inspecting articles and rejecting defective ones
- Take on data entry tasks, prepare inventory records and reports, and deal with conflicting documentation information
- Develop close working relationship with the Purchasing Manager and Inventory Analyst


- Excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable with logistics records relating to quantity, cost, and type of material received, in stock, or issued
- Prefer candidates with basic knowledge of Inventory Management Software
- Proficient with spreadsheets and databases
- Preferably have basic experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
- Proficiency in 10 Key Accounting
- Foundational knowledge in inventory
- Knowledge of inventory analysis
- Experience with inventory planning reporting
- Microsoft Excel experience desired
- Ability to enter data into various electronic systems while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the data
- Strong communication skills and able to receive criticism well
- Prefer AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting
- Some inventory experience preferred
